According to the ancient history of the Frontier, the early Swordmen were knights aligned with elemental fire power. Although they could master other elements in that era, fire was the core of their martial identity.
Today, Knights and their evolutions maintain an exceptional balance between high defense, massive HP pools, and strong physical attacks, acting as the vanguard of any frontline battle.

Combat Balance & Attributes
- Frontline Specialists: Swordmen and their second/transcendence classes excel at taking heavy damage. Certain skill trees sacrifice offensive attributes or mobility to amplify defense and physical resistance.
- Mixed Gear Setup: Due to their hybrid nature, a balanced equipment build combining defensive resistance and offensive power is highly recommended over single-stat builds.
PvP Strategy & Dynamics
- Reflect & Brute Force: In Player vs Player combat, builds generally diverge into two playstyles: reflecting incoming physical damage back at attackers, or using raw brute force to overpower opponents.
- Exploiting Openings: The most effective strategy with a Swordman evolution is tactical patience. Wait for enemy players to reveal their position, waste their main offensive skills, or run out of defensive resources (such as SP or consumable buffs) before launching a counter-attack through a strategic opening.
MVP & Boss Hunting
- Team-Oriented Role: Swordman evolutions shine brightest as part of an organized party, taking the role of tanks, crowd controllers, or secondary damage dealers.
- Solo Performance: Soloing MVPs is not their primary advantage unless the character is heavily geared with high-end defensive cards, elemental armor, and specialized weapons.
